Pretty much my #1 dealbreaker.
I don’t say Okie because it’s not my word to use. It’s not a slur I get to reclaim or rebrand. I don’t get to use as a synonym for folksy, shabby chic, or git-r-done-ness. There are no Okies in Oklahoma.
